Quantachrome (UltraPyc 1200e)

Equipment Description

A gas pycnometer is an instrument used to determine the volume of a solid and consequently its density by gas displacement. It is particularly useful for materials whose volume is difficult to measure directly, such as powders, foams, and porous materials.

Technical Specifications

  • Measurable volume range: 0.1 to 135 cm³

  • Volume measurement accuracy: ±0.01%
