Equipment Description
The Leistritz ZSE-27 is a twin-screw extruder designed to process a wide range of materials, particularly various classes of polymers, at high production rates. Granular materials are fed into the co-rotating twin-screw conveyor, where they are conveyed, mixed, and compounded, enabling the production of composite materials. At the end of the barrel, the material is forced through a die that shapes it into the desired cross-sectional profile. This extrusion process can be carried out at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for the processing and compounding of thermoplastic materials.
