Equipment description
A manufacturing process for creating hollow plastic parts by molding. A plastic powder is introduced into a hollow mold mounted on a multi-axis rotating system. This mold is then heated to melt the polymer and is continuously rotated throughout the process to distribute the polymer evenly across its inner wall. The mold is then cooled and opened to remove the finished part. The amount of polymer introduced into the mold depends on the nature of the object to be manufactured and the desired thickness of the plastic walls.
