Equipment Description

This instrument enables rheological measurements, i.e., the evaluation of the effects of an applied force on fluid flow. It can apply high shear rates and use sample volumes as small as 20 μL, which is particularly useful for protein analysis. The instrument is coupled with a Thermocube for temperature control of the samples.


In the laboratory, this instrument is commonly used to measure the viscosity of protein and nanoparticle mixtures.
