Equipment Description

The diode-pumped solid-state laser from Laserglow Technologies is ideal for applications requiring power levels ranging from 1 mW to 15 W. The laser operates at a wavelength of 532 nm and offers excellent long-term power stability. This type of laser is commonly used for fluorescence excitation and particle image velocimetry (PIV). In Prof. Taghavi’s laboratory, it is primarily used to obtain velocity profiles under different conditions.
