Laboratory Research
Development of new gold nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems for ophthalmology
Membrane processes involving proteins implicated in vision
Areas of Expertise
Dr. Élodie Boisselier's laboratory has developed several gold nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems to optimize medication in ophthalmology. This patented nanotechnology could improve several medications, particularly those requiring frequent administration. The laboratory is also equipped to study the membrane binding of various proteins, peptides, and molecules involved in different mechanisms essential to cell survival.
