Equipment Description
This multiplatform testing workstation is equipped with a PXIe chassis providing expansion slots for various modules, including a high-end data acquisition (DAQ) system based on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA), a digitizer for converting analog signals into digital data, an electrical waveform generator, a digital multimeter, and a high-precision power measurement instrument.
The workstation also includes a high-voltage amplifier and precision syringe pumps capable of picoliter-scale fluid delivery. Finally, an FPGA-based imaging system with a color camera is also available.
PXIe: Designed for a wide range of test and measurement applications, it provides a high-bandwidth backplane. It features four PXI peripheral slots, one PXI Express slot with system timing capabilities, and two hybrid PXI Express slots that accept both PXI and PXI Express peripheral modules.
High-voltage amplifier: A two-channel high-voltage amplifier capable of supplying current to a variety of loads, including resistive and reactive loads. It is specifically designed for applications requiring the output voltage range of standard signal or function generators to be extended beyond their typical range, up to ±200 V. It is compatible with virtually all types of signal and function generators.
Syringe pump: A device used to inject or withdraw fluids at a controlled flow rate, down to the picoliter-per-minute range, in microfluidic channels.
