Equipment Description
The SpectraMax i3x is a multimode plate reader capable of performing fluorescence, absorbance, and luminescence measurements on samples placed in multiwell plates. Measurements are rapid and precise, using a photomultiplier tube (PMT) detector to enhance the sensitivity of the method.
The instrument can be used for measurements in solution and on cell cultures.
The instrument is primarily used in the laboratory for biological assays, such as cell viability measurements, ELISA assays, protein quantification, free hemoglobin measurements, and other related applications.
