Equipment Description
Thermogravimetric analysis is a destructive analytical method used to monitor the mass loss of a material as a function of temperature. Several phenomena can be observed and quantified using this technique, including evaporation, chemical reactions, dehydration, adsorption, and sublimation.
In the laboratory, this instrument is commonly used to determine the proportion of the organic component in metallic nanoparticles.
