Equipment Description
This reaction setup, used for photochemical synthesis, generates high light intensity through its medium-pressure mercury lamp, which is cooled by a cooling system. Approximately 40–48% of the irradiated energy is in the ultraviolet range (254, 300, and 365 nm), 40–43% is in the visible range, and the remainder is in the near-infrared range. The apparatus has a volume capacity of 500 mL and can accommodate both room-temperature and reflux reactions. This reaction setup can only be used for reactions in solution. It can be useful for applications in the field of bottom-up synthesis.
