Equipment Description

This photochemical apparatus allows photochemical reactions to be carried out in both the solid state and in solution. It is equipped with multiple lamps inside the reaction chamber to provide optimal illumination across a spectral range covering three wavelengths, as well as an integrated magnetic stirring system. The irradiation power can be adjusted. This equipment is ideal for developing and optimizing new photochemical reactions.

Technical Specifications

  • Maximum reaction volume: 100 mL;

  • UV–Vis emission range;

  • 3 available wavelengths: 254, 300, and 365 nm;

  • 16 × 8 W lamps;

  • Temperature range: 25 to 60 °C. Higher temperatures can be achieved using heating mantles.

Areas of expertise

  • Materials science;

  • Organic synthesis;

  • Photochemical synthesis of new materials.
