2024 Symposium | Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Université Laval, Alphonse-Desjardins Building (Hydro-Québec Room)

Objectives

The CERMA Annual Student Symposium is an event organized each year by and for the research centre's student community, providing students with an opportunity to present the progress of their research. Each edition features nearly 40 oral and poster presentations delivered to an audience of approximately 100 participants. The symposium offers an excellent opportunity for research groups to exchange scientific ideas, establish new collaborations, and foster new partnerships.

Theme :  Disruptive Technologies

This year, The 2nd lab  will lead a professional development activity for student members. Their mission is to empower the next generation of highly qualified professionals to make a meaningful impact on society beyond academia and to help build a better world for future generations.

Professors Nicolas Merveille and Mario Leclerc will deliver presentations entitled "Assessing the Landscape of Disruptive Technologies Through the Lens of Sustainability" and "Green Chemistry for Green Energy," respectively.
