CERMA Annual Symposium

Conference 2022 | Friday, January 28

The CERMA Annual Symposium is an event organized each year by and for the students of the research centre, providing them with an opportunity to present the latest developments in their research. Each edition features approximately 40 oral and poster presentations delivered to an audience of about 100 people. It offers a chance for the various research groups to exchange ideas on scientific topics, forge new connections, and establish new partnerships. The presence of invited speakers from various research centres, Canadian and international universities, and materials science industries allows CERMA's expertise to be showcased beyond Université Laval.

The 2022 edition of the CERMA Annual Symposium was held virtually on January 28.

The 2022 edition included presentations from companies and students. There was also a poster session. Students presenting posters had the opportunity throughout the day to convince conference participants to come and see their work with a "flash presentation." Prizes were awarded for the best oral and poster presentations by the students.

The theme of this year's symposium was: the materials of the future in everyday life .
