Manufacturer (Model)

First Ten Angstroms (FTA 200)

Equipment Description

The FTA200 is a video-based measurement system used to determine contact angle, interfacial tension, surface tension, wettability, and absorption. Software optimized for the instrument enables video recording at rates ranging from 60 frames per second to several hours. Recordings can also be made using non-linear time intervals to better capture absorption phenomena. Analyses are based on the shape and size of generated liquid droplets and can be performed either manually or automatically.
