Equipment Description
This non-destructive characterization technique is used to determine the optical properties of materials, including fluorescence, phosphorescence, chemiluminescence, and bioluminescence. It also enables the measurement of quantum yield. In some applications, for example using fluorescein as a molecular probe, analyte detection limits can reach the picomolar range in both solid-state samples and solutions.
